About me:

 

I am a senior lecturer in evolutionary microbiology at the European Centre for Environment and Human Health and the Environment and Sustainability Institute, Cornwall Campus. I combine approaches from microbiology, evolutionary ecology and population genomics. Main research foci in my lab are Horizontal Gene Transfer, the evolution of pan genomes, and the ecology of bacterial pathogens in the environment. Recent publications include:
