South West and Wales Africa Research Network
The South-West & Wales Africa Research Network is a cross-disciplinary research network for people with an interest in the continent of Africa. This includes postgraduate and early-career as well as established researchers, and both African researchers and researchers working on Africa.
Aims
Our aim is to create a vibrant, cross-institutional research community with a focus on Africa. Our research network aims:
- To enhance regional collaboration and networking on Africa, and with African partners.
- To support the development of collaborative research, impact and grant applications on Africa.
- To create a cross-disciplinary community to share, develop and promote cutting-edge research on Africa.
- To support the development of postgraduate and early-career African researchers and those working on Africa.
- To promote and support the development of doctoral supervision and training on Africa
