Centre for Medical History
The Centre for Medical History brings together academic staff and postgraduate students across the University studying various aspects of the history of health, illness, bodily experiences, medical knowledge and structures of health care. Based in the Department of Archaeology and History, its members come from a variety of humanities and social science disciplines, and our aim is to foster interdisciplinarity activity across medical humanities. We are also committed to engaged research, public engagement and championing the role of humanities in developing innovative solutions to global health challenges.
