Based at the University of Exeter’s Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies and situated within its College of Social Sciences and International Studies, the Centre is well placed to draw on expert faculty from both the IAIS and the Department of Politics.

Two PhD studentships in Palestine studies, funded by UAE Foreign Minister, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed started in September.

Monthly Sessions on Palestine
Monthly Sessions on Palestine, which provide opportunities for graduate students to come together to discuss their own research and action in such areas as surveillance in Palestine and the UK; representations of Palestinians in late Ottoman/Mandate Palestine; and uses of psychological discourse in post-Oslo Palestine (coordinated by 2017-2018 Research Fellow, Rachael Stryker)
