Yao Chen is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Finance at the University of Exeter Business School and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He earned his PhD in Finance from Warwick Business School and began his academic career at Cardiff University in 2017 before joining Exeter. Yao's research interests include behavioral finance, empirical asset pricing, and sustainable finance. His work has been published in the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and the Journal of Financial Intermediation, and has been presented at major international conferences. He also serves as a reviewer for leading finance journals.
