Brainstorming workshop with Remnin University of China: 15-17 October 2019
TARC have continued collaborating (and building relationship) with Renmin University following the IQTE project. The Centre hosted a 3 day workshop with Renmin University delegates with the purpose of identifying research topics the two institutions can co-operate on more closely.
Modelling tax policy and compliance workshop: 14-15 March 2019
The aim of this collaboration with the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand was to share recent research from Australia New Zealand, the UK, and various European countries, on developments in economic modelling of tax policy and tax compliance.

The Workshop was supported by funding from the UK ESRC, and the New Zealand Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, Wellington..
Past events:
TARC has delivered a series of Masterclasses led by Centre members and International Fellows. Master classes were designed to meet the needs of both tax authority employees and researchers in tax administration. Subjects for master classes included implications of behavioural economics for tax policy, evaluation of tax policy, and tax gap estimation.
