Hannah joined the University of Exeter in December 2022 as the Quality Assurance Manager for the UKCRC-registered Exeter Clinical Trials Unit (ExeCTU), where she holds overall responsibility for the quality management systems and assurance processes across the Unit. In this role, she leads the development, monitoring, and continuous improvement of quality management policies, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards. She also oversees the production and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manages the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS), and conducts risk-based audits as required.
Prior to this, she worked as Deputy Research Governance Manager at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust (UHPNT), where she provided advice on research governance and quality assurance processes. Her responsibilities included ensuring regulatory compliance for clinical trials, overseeing audits, managing research-related incidents, and maintaining quality assurance systems. She also acted as Sponsor Representative for CTIMP and non-CTIMP studies, both multi-site and international.
