ECR Representative Committee
The ECR Representative Committee is a fantastic opportunity for Early Career Researchers to meet and discuss what their community needs from the University. The Committee typically meets three times a year and links with various boards across the University, to take ideas and requests forward.
A downloadable version of our organisation chart can be found here: ECR Representative Committee Organisational Chart
Our ECRNs feed into the ECR Representative Committee to report on activities, promote events and ask for input or feedback.
Our ECR Representative Committee continues to develop and now acts as a formal route for PGRs and ECRs within the ECRNs to feed into University strategy. Dedicated ECR Reps feed ‘to and from’ the ECR Representative Committee from several strategic boards, steering and working groups, including the Research and Impact Executive Committee (RIEC), the Exeter Academic Steering Group, the Concordat Steering Group, the Positive Working Group and the Equality and Diversity Board, as detailed in the above diagram.
If you would like more details about the ECR Representative Committee, how you can become involved, or how you could represent the ECR community, please contact the Researcher Development team.
