The system provides reproducible homogenous carbon coatings for electron microscopy as well as the option for glow discharging of EM grids to make them hydrophilic.
Types of samples: Samples on aluminium stub, coverslips and coverglasses
Applications:
- Carbon coating for TEM, SEM, and membranes on the grids (formvar, pioloform, parlodion)
- Glow discharge of surfaces to make them negatively charged and hydrophilic
