After obtaining a MSci in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham in 2019, I moved to Southampton to work in the group of Professors Sally Ward and Raimund Ober. Here, I worked in the Light microscopy division and supported research into antibody tracking and recycling in the treatment of cancers and autoimmune disorders through a combination of widefield and confocal imaging techniques.
I am currently a Research Technician specialising in Light microscopy within the Bioimaging Centre at the University of Exeter and am experienced in Laser Scanning and Spinning Disc confocal techniques. I am also responsible for the recently procured Lightsheet and Two-photon systems and am developing new multi-photon ablation and photomanipulation methods alongside my maintenance and training duties.
