Miss Grace Patterson (She/her)
Senior Research Technician
University Research Facilities
I joined the University of Exeter Bioimaging Centre as a Senior Research Technician in September 2024 after relocating from Southampton.
My Bioimaging career started in diagnostic and research electron microscopy in 2019 when I was selected for an apprenticeship funded through University Hospital Southampton. I qualified as an IBMS registered Biomedical Scientist in 2023.
My work in Southampton focussed on diagnostic biomedical imaging relating to renal disease, nerve and muscle disorders and rare genetic disorders such as Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, with some involvement in research projects as well.
Since joining the Bioimaging Centre at University of Exeter I have enjoyed working on a diverse and exciting range of projects using state of the art electron microscopy equipment.
