Exeter Sequencing Facility

The University of Exeter Sequencing Facility provides state-of-the-art genomics and bioinformatics analysis.  We specialise in providing bespoke sequencing services offering an exceptional range of project parameters to researchers in academia and industry.

A good experimental design is crucial to ensure you obtain high quality, publishable data.  We’re here to help you make your design is optimal and profiles the best value for money without compromising your science.

Research Expertise & Technologies

The University of Exeter Sequencing Facility has been operating since 2008 running internal, collaborative, and commercial projects. Originally formed from University Science Strategy investments it has expanded using a combination of Wellcome Trust, MRC and BBSRC equipment funds as well as University-match funding.

Currently we support in excess of £20M of research grants and work with a range of commercial companies and organisations.

We have a range of experience in short read and long read technologies.
