I am a Research Fellow on Additive Manufacturing at the Centre for Additive Layer Manufacturing (CALM), currently working as the lead researcher on the collaborative project between Victrex and CALM. My expertise spans across material characterisations, analytical modelling, and the development of high-performance high-temperature polymers for additive manufacturing processes.
Prior to join Exeter, I obtained my PhD in Physics from Strasbourg University, where I investigated contact mechanics and friction of oriented semi-crystalline polymers. The project was sponsored by Dutch Polymer Institute (DPI). During my PhD, I have collaborated closely with Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and industrial partners including SABIC, SKF, DSM, Teijin Aramid, and BASF.
Projects as PI:
EPSRC - High-performance polymer insulating coatings for high-voltage e-motors (2025-2027). Project size: £310,474. Partners: Warwick Manufacturing Grounp (WMG); Centre for Smart Grid.
Royal Society Short Industry Fellowship - A Universal Framework to Predict Phase Transitions in Semi-crystalline Polymer Manufacturing (2025-2026). Project size: £23,462. Partner: Victrex.
