Forms of Forgiveness in Personal Relationships

About the project

This project provides the first sociological research project into forgiveness in personal relationships. The project explores the role forgiveness plays in maintaining and repairing relationships across various types of personal relationships, including familial, couple, and friendship relationships. It also aims examining the interactive and contextual character of forgiveness within relationships through empirical investigation into the ways in which forgiveness becomes significant to, and is practiced within, everyday personal lives.
