Lauren Asare

Lauren Asare is a Graduate Research Assistant for the Patient and Public Involvement Team within NIHR PenARC. Her role entails supporting patients and members of the public in their involvement and engagement in healthcare services research, so that the people who are meant to benefit from research have a say in shaping it. 

Lauren is also a part-time PhD student based in the department of Health & Community Sciences at the University of Exeter Medical School. Her project aims to investigate the experiences that people with thyroid disease have with receiving care and managing their conditions day-to-day.
