Dr Jake Lomax
Jake is a systemic change research, strategy and measurement specialist with twenty years’ experience advising development projects and conducting applied and academic research in the occupied Palestinian territory, Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Fiji, Nigeria, and Cote d’Ivoire. He has worked as a consultant for clients including the World Bank, Stockholm Environment Institute, CDC Group, ITAD and NIRAS-LTS International.
Jake has a PhD in International Development and an MSc in Research Methods for International Development, both from the University of East Anglia, a BSc in Management from the University of St Andrews and an MSc in Entrepreneurship from Falmouth University.
His interests lie in the theory and practice of systemic change, systems mapping, actor-level theories of change, and impact assessment. He has extensive experience of mixed-methods research design and implementation, as well as conflict analysis and development of intervention strategies.
