As Director of Research and Impact (DoRI) at the LSI, I assist our research teams in producing high-quality, interdisciplinary publications, facilitate the submission of collaborative grant proposals, and  work to maximise the institute's overall impact.

As Director of Postgraduate Research (DPGR) in the LSI, I oversee the education of our PhD students.  This included the design of our PhD programme, which was done in collaboration with other group leaders and our current PhD students.

As Co-Directors of Business Engagement and Innovation, we work with colleagues in Exeter Innovation and academics to develop a culture of innovation in LSI. We encourage and support all our staff and students to consider commercialising their research and engage with industry, charities, and government agencies to maximise the impact of their research.
