Ecotoxicology and Pollution
We seek to understand the impact of anthropogenic marine pollution on ocean ecology and humans.
Our research spans plastics, anti-microbial resistance, coral bleaching and anthropogenic noise. Our aim is to provide the scientific basis for changing human behaviours and practices regarding waste material in the oceans.
This theme comprises researchers from Biosciences, Centre for Ecology and Conservation (CEC), The Centre for Geography and Environmental Science, Environment and Sustainability Institute (ESI) and Geography.
