Evolution and Animal Behaviour
Our marine research spans evolutionary biology, life history evolution, behavioural ecology, sensory ecology, social learning, sexual and competitive behaviour, predator-prey interactions, migratory behaviours, biomimicry and genomics. Researchers work on a wide range of study species ranging from the some of the largest marine mega-vertebrates to the smallest micro-organisms.
Techniques include theoretical approaches, utilising data from long-term individual based studies and experimental approaches in both the laboratory and field.
