Overview
I am a current member of the Centre for Doctoral Training in Metamaterials. My research involves the fabrication and simulation of Phase-change memory devices, a joint project with PragmatIC ltd. We have a particular focus on high crystallisation temperature Germanium-rich phase-change materials and flexible memory devices.
Previously, I studied an Msci in Natural Sciences at Exeter. My masters project involved using Density Functional Theory to look at the relative stabilities of Spriopyrans and Mercyanines. This project was important in influencing my decision to continue with a PhD.
