Innovation Fund

The proramme's Innovation Fund is designed to enable academics and industrialists associated with TEAM-A to build new research and strengthen existing relationships with non-academic partners and Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

The scheme which runs until September 2022, has two funding streams that are designed to enable a ladder of progression through which research can be furthered and partnerships supported. To apply for an Innovation Fund award of up to £5,000; download, complete and submit the below form. 

The purpose of this fund is to enable the establishment and development of closer working partnerships between academic and non-academic partners, through early stage engagement activities with clear impact potential.

A few important notes: Staff time cannot be included in the costings here and this fund is open to apply to all year, every year until 2022.

Initiator Award Application Form‌ 

To apply for an Innovation Fund award of up to £35,000; download, complete and submit the below form. 

The purpose of this fund is to support collaborations between multiple parties which aim to exploit and implement research findings. The funds awarded through this scheme can be used to support commercialisation activities, knowledge exchange placements and relationship development actvities.

A few important notes: Staff time can be included in the costings here and this fund is open to apply to all year, every year until 2022.
