Nurture-U is a national research project that is finding better ways to support university students with their wellbeing and mental health. Read more>>
ACORN
A quarter of pregnant women experience severe anxiety, impacting maternal health and wellbeing, childbirth and child development. ACORN, an NIHR-funded project, evaluates the effectiveness of a group intervention, CALM, on managing pregnancy-related anxiety. The large trial will also evaluate CALM’s cost-efficiency, its impact on parent-child relationships, and child development. Read more>>
CHOICES
This project will extend the growing evidence base around social prescribing in the primary care and public health arenas by focussing on its use for children and young people (CYP), and in particular prevention and early intervention in mental health conditions, which are a key growing concern for primary care, public health and education services. Science of ADHD and Neurodevelopment (SAND)
SAND is a collaboration of scientists at the University of Exeter conducting research into neurodevelopmental disorders.
