Our role is to promote, disseminate and develop research that responds to the needs of policymakers, enabling the University to deepen collaborations and strengthen its reputation with policy actors.
We plan to become a national and global focal point for policymakers seeking partnerships and expertise aligned to Exeter's capabilities. Our vision is to bridge the gap between academic research findings and the insights and influence this brings to policymaking regionally, nationally and globally; and to be recognised as a leading organisation of its kind.

Professor Paul Cornish is Professor of Practice in Public Policy and Director of Policy@Exeter. Paul provides strategic leadership to develop our vision within and outside the University.
Dr Poppy Harrison, Policy Engagement Manager
Poppy Harrison is Policy Engagement Manager for P@E. Poppy builds capacity and creates strategic opportunities for researchers at the University of Exeter to impact policy making with their work. She also manages our membership of UPEN.
