AI in Education
The Data Science & AI education portfolio has been comprehensively redeveloped, you can find the programme list and our wider portfolio here and might like to consider if any existing modules could be used. More programmes are already in development to complement this list.
If you are interested in developing a new programme or adding a significant element of data science/AI to an existing programme then the standard Programme Development processes apply. Mike Robertson is the Data Science & AI lead in the team and would be happy to discuss how your proposal would fit with the future plans for the portfolio.
The first step for any completely new programme would be to establish evidence of market demand. You could talk to the Planning team to get some HESA data to support this, or other ADA offerings have been supported by market research commissioned by Alex Tiffany’s team where HESA data was not yet evidencing demand.
