Ipplepen Field School

The excavation at Ipplepen in Devon has now ended and the team are working towards publication of the findings. It was run by the University of Exeter in partnership with the British Museum, Portable Antiquities Scheme, Devon County Council, and Cotswold Archaeology. Funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Devon County Council enabled members of the public to work alongside Exeter University students, for whom the dig provided training as part of their degree programme.
