Effects of Ketamine vs Alcohol on Mood and Sleep study

We are interested in looking at the effect of recreational ketamine and alcohol use on sleep and mood post-substance use.

What does the study involve?

If you are planning to use ketamine or alcohol, we ask that you complete a questionnaire at two time points:

  • One during the day on which you are going to take your chosen substance, but before you have started use
  • One on the day following substance use (12 hours after you have last taken ketamine/consumed your last alcoholic drink)

NOTE: we ask that you use ketamine or alcohol individually, and not in combination with each other or any other substances.

Please refer to the participant information sheet linked below for further details on the study:

If you wish to take part please complete the following questionnaires at the time points stated above. There is no need to contact the research team before taking part unless you have any specific enquiries.
