Mr Calum MacLeod

Calum is Research Manager for the NIHR School for Primary Care Research (SPCR) and the The SPOtting Cancer among Comorbidities (SPOCC) programme (NIHR Programme Grants for Applied Research, Award ID: NIHR201070). Part of the HLS Research Cluster team, Calum is embedded in the APEx group and provides research and project management support to grant holders and the leadership team. 

As first point of contact at Exeter for SPCR, Calum co-ordinates our participation in SPCR programmes, including research project bids and training and capacity development schemes. As project manager for SPOCC, Calum works closely with the PI to ensure the smooth-running of the project and that all reporting and governance requirements are met.

Calum has over 10 years' experience in professional services in higher education across various functions, including time managing a research institute and a UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training.
