Hannah works across all faculties on a diverse portfolio of EU and UK Government-funded research projects within the Research & Innovation Project Delivery Team. Hannah joined the University in 2019, and has 10 years of experience delivering multi-agency programmes in the charity sector. Examples of her project roles since January 2024:

 

LOCAST: Enabling Low-Carbon Structures by Understanding Human Effects of Motion (UKRI). Lead at Exeter: Aleksandar Pavic.

Setting up processes and management of 300 human test subjects, developing a bespoke system for bookings and communications with volunteers and stakeholders. Facilitating key project management tasks to support the cross-university, multi-disciplinary research team.  

 

Critical Minerals Equipment Hub (UK SPF) led by Francis Wall.

Administrator for a new £183m facility at the Camborne School of Mines. Facilitating internal and external meetings, procurement of equipment and marketing materials and organising a high-profile launch event.

 

TWICEASGOOD (EU Horizon 2020) led by Susan Banducci.

Funding reporting, setting up contracts with external consultants and recruitment and interview panellist for PDR posts. Organising an overseas event for an international team of 12 academics.

 

BLADEN LEGACY - Biodiversity and the Legacy of Anthropogenic Disturbance on Ecosystems in the Neotropics (EU ERC) led by Mark Robinson.

Facilitated collaboration agreements with international partners and arranged contracts and payments for external consultants, managed complex procurement with overseas suppliers.   

 

WomenTheatreNet (UKRI) led by Kate Newey.

Supporting recruitment of two PDRFs and providing training and equipment to support these posts. Organising international travel, facilitating collaboration with external partners.  

 

 

Previous roles:

 

Administrator for ENLIVEN, a 3-year £2.6m UKRI multi-agency project, led by Linda Clare (Medical School) and Jo Connell (Business School); ENLIVEN co-produced dementia friendly innovations in the visitor economy working with small businesses, the charity sector and volunteers living with dementia.

 

Administration Officer for the GW4 Water Security Alliance; working closely with GW4 universities to facilitate and develop an international research consortium of stakeholders and academia across multiple sectors and disciplines, to tackle water security challenges.
