About me:

Vanessa joined the University in 2018 working in various roles including Executive Assistant to Heads of Department, PGR Support Administrator and Research Project Administrator.

Vanessa is Level 4 Advanced Certificate in office & administration management qualified. With an extensive background in complex administration; specialising in the areas of Senior Administration/Office Management, Executive Assistant and finance and project coordination.

Currenly working as Project Administrator for the FAILSAFE Project within the MRC for Medical Mycology supporting Professor Gordon Brown and Professor Elaine Bignell and the team in the day-to-day delivery. Providing administrative and logistical support, working alongside the team arranging events including international travel arrangments.  Supporting the management team, review panel and applicants for the FAILSAFE project through the life cycle of the applications.
