Finance: Changes to How You Buy Goods and Services
Description | About this course: This online session outlines the next phase of improvements to the University's purchasing and procurement processes going live from 2nd Sept 24, which are changing how you buy goods and services. It includes a demonstration of the changes in T1, where to start a new buying request in the PS Connect Portal and has time for any questions you have about buying on behalf of the University.
Learning outcomes: As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:. - Understand how improvements to the University's buying thresholds and procurement processes will reduce the time you spend on purchasing admin. - Use the PS Connect Portal to start all new buying requests. - Use the PS Connect Portal to get help with sourcing suppliers and creating and managing your orders.
Who should attend this course: Any colleagues or students who currently buy goods and/or services using the T1 finance system. Please note - any colleagues wanting to learn how to purchase for the first time should attend the 'Finance: T1 Purchasing Goods and Services' course instead of this one.
