Planning for Performance (Centre 4 Learning)
Description | Theme: Leadership and Management Category: People Management About this course: Planning for performance is designed to help managers to empower their team members to perform. They will explore how to set clear expectations, both in relation to performance (outcome-based objectives), and behaviours (in line with the Exeter values). It will also provide tips and tools to help with delegation.
Learning outcomes: By the end of the session you will be:. - Clear on your role in planning for performance. - Confident in setting clear expectation and objectives. - Able to delegate effectively. - Able to adapt your style to ensure you are being effective in the hybrid workplace.
Who should attend this course: This course is aimed at managers who are following either Pathway 1 (Essentials) or Pathway 2 (Practitioner) within our People Management Development programmes. Delegates will be looking to grow their management skills. You may be new to a management role, or have a few years of experience but with limited formal training.
Before the course: Delegates will be provided with pre-reading and/or activities prior to the session.
