Community of Practice Workshop for Leaders and People Managers - Team Wellbeing and Mental Health

Course overview: This practical workshop is designed to provide an opportunity for leaders and people managers to engage in a hosted community of practice. This approach will allow colleagues to discuss and explore mental health and wellbeing topics important to them and relating to supporting their team members. The session will be hosted by a member of both the Occupational Health Team and Human Resources. The aim of this workshop is to assist you in supporting your team's health and wellbeing at work using a structured framework and to provide an opportunity to explore any anxieties about this aspect of your role. This session will be run as a confidential, structured group meeting to enable discussion and allow experts and peers to respond to queries and offer guidance for any occupational health and wellbeing issues within your team. Delegates are encouraged to bring along examples they would like to explore to the workshop such as:. - Challenging situations in your people manager role, relating to the health and wellbeing of your team members. - Work/management aspects of your role impacting on your own mental health and wellbeing.
Learning outcomes: By the end of the session you will feel more confident in:. - Responding to mental and physical health issues you may have within your team. - Finding appropriate information and tools, policies and resources to help you. - Accessing support for yourself.
Audience: This session is aimed at leaders and people managers who would like to expand their knowledge and discuss current challenges they may have relating to the health and wellbeing of their team members.
