About this course:

This workshop will explore concepts of belonging and mattering, and consider ways in which tutors can support students to feel like they matter as well as that they belong.

In addition we will consider barriers to good practice.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to: 1 - consider your own tutoring practice in the context of the wider university 2 - learn how other departments address belonging and mattering 3 - identify further areas of research to inform your own practice
