PDR Training for Reviewers (Professional Services)
Description | Theme: Leadership and Management. Category: People Management.
About this course: To develop as an organisation and ensure that we invest in the development of our colleagues to support our strategy, our Performance and Development Review (PDR) conversations need to create a continuous culture of openness and inclusivity. The PDR process has a focus on goals and achievement but it is also intended to be supportive, flexible and individualised. A great PDR is all to do with the quality of the conversation, consequently this session will introduce you to the current policy and process, however the main focus will be on how you can plan and implement quality, ongoing, conversations. We will explore the purpose of the PDR process, whilst considering the wider performance management context. We will also discuss how to deploy a coaching style and share a range of hints, tips, tools and techniques to help you and your reviewees get the most from your PDRs.
