Description | Theme: Leadership and Management Category: People Management About this course: This workshop is designed to help managers get really clear on their roles in developing others. We will explore the roles in development, the factors that drive motivation and engagement and their impact on performance and practise confidently conducting career development conversations.
Learning outcomes: By the end of the session you will:. - Be really clear on your role in developing others. - Be clear on the factors that drive motivation and engagement. - Be able to confidently conduct career development conversations. - Be able to flex your leadership style according to your team member's development level.
Who should attend this course: This course is aimed at managers who are following Pathway 2 (Practitioner) within our People Management Development programmes. Delegates will be looking to grow their management skills. You are likely to have previous management experience, perhaps with limited formal training, or are keen to build on the experience and development you have acquired to date.
Before the course: Delegates will be provided with pre-reading and/or activities prior to the session.
