Bitesize Learning: Neurodiversity
Description | Theme: Personal Effectiveness. Category: Wellbeing. Course Overview: This one hour session will provide information on Neurodiversity at work and provide an opportunity to consider how employees with Neurodiverse conditions can succeed and flourish in the workplace. It will cover what resources are available to support those with Neuodiverse conditions and what managers can do to support colleagues at work. Sessions will include a short presentation on Neurodiverse conditions covering common types of Neurodiversity, how this can effect employees in the workplace (positive and negative) and possible reasonable adjustments to support colleagues at work. It will include the opportunity for discussion and share best practice. Learning Outcomes: By the end of this session you will have a better understanding of:. What is Neurodiversity? Types of Neurodiversity and the impacts in the workplace. What should we be doing to promote inclusivity. What reasonable adjustments and practical support can be put in place to support employees in our organisation. Resources available.
Audience: This session is aimed at all colleagues and managers who want to know more about supporting Neurodiverse colleagues/employees at work. It will provide managers with information on how they can support employees to flourish in the workplace.
