Course overview:

This course will help you answer questions you may have about risks, risk assessment and hazardous substances.

It will also explain the CoSHH regulations and help delegates complete a CoSHH assessment.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Produce an inventory of substances in their areas of work.

- Identify High, Medium and Low risk substances.

- Complete a risk assessment with confidence.

- Understand the requirements for first aid, fire, storage, spillages and disposal.

- Explain your health and safety requirement of your role.

Audience:

This course is for staff who are required to complete and manage CoSHH risk assessments and/or are involved in the CoSHH risk assessment process within their College or Service.
