Emergency Response and Business Continuity (Introduction)
Description | Theme: Personal Effectiveness. Category: People Management About this course: This training provides an overview of the University's major incident emergency response arrangements, e.g. bomb threat, large scale evacuation etc. It helps managers understand where they fit in the arrangements and how they can help keep people safe. It also provides an introduction to the principles of business continuity to help managers prepare for the recovery phase of an incident.
Learning outcomes: As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:. - Explain the University's major incident emergency response arrangements to your team. - Put into effect the different courses of emergency response action that you might be asked to take, providing leadership to your staff, students and visitors. - Understand the basic principles and outcomes of business continuity.
Audience: Assistant Directors, Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders.
