Researcher Development : Advanced Endnote
Description | Theme: Education and Research Category: Education and Research About this course: This activity is for Research active staff and would be particularly useful to Early Career Researchers. Pre-course information will be circulated beforehand. This workshop will explore some of the advanced features and functionality in EndNote including organising your library, PDF handling and merging theses chapters. This is an advanced EndNote session. It is advisable that participants have attended Organising your references with EndNote workshop. Prior use of EndNote is required.
Learning outcomes: . As a result of attending this course, you will be able to: - Organise your library with: Groups and Smart Groups, annotate records, identify and remove duplicates, save and move your Library. - Use the PDF functionality including: attaching PDF?s to reference, creating references from folders of saved PDF's, enable automatic importing and annotate PDF's. - Merge theses chapters or word documents.

Before the course: No preparation is required for this course however participants are expected to have prior use/experience of EndNote. It is advisable attendees have attended Organising your references with EndNote workshop.
