Deanships of Colleges |
| 28.1 |
Appointments to vacant Deanships of Colleges shall be made by the Council in accordance with the procedure set out in the following paragraphs: |

Deans of Colleges shall normally be appointed from among the Professors or Associate Professors of the University. |
| 28.3 |
The period of appointment shall normally be up to five years from 1 August in any given year. College Deans shall be eligible for reappointment for one further term. |

The procedure for appointment to Deanships of College shall be approved by Senate and Council. |
| 28.5 |
The duties and responsibilities of Deans of Colleges shall be approved by Senate and Council. |
