A Chaplain is available to talk with confidentially Monday - Friday on Streatham and St Luke’s campuses. The Chaplaincy also provides opportunities for pastoral support, worship, group study for Faith to be nurtured and deepened, and time to engage with searching questions and spirituality.
Chaplaincy is a safe place to talk, to be heard and to find support.
The Lazenby Chaplain
Revd Chantal Mason (Anglican) can be found at any time in Room 110 in The Old Library. Next to her office is also a Quiet Room - a lounge for space and reflection which you are welcome to use. The Lazenby Chaplain is an Official of the University, and is appointed jointly by representatives of the University, the Diocese of Exeter and the St Luke’s College Foundation which manages the estate of the late Katherine Maud Lazenby of Tiverton. The St Luke's College Foundation (set up as a charity when St Luke's College was joined with the University in October 1978), employs the Lazenby Chaplain and contributes significant funds for the use of Chaplaincy at the University.
