Liz Mundy
Portfolio Benefits Manager
I joined the University in November 2010 as Finance Business Partner to the College of Humanities and since then have undertaken other senior finance related roles. In November 2014 at the outset of the Transformation Programme, I became the Senior Management Accountant (Transformation Programme), responsible for the profiling, monitoring and reporting on the cashable benefits and costs for the Programme to ETB, PRG, VCEG and Council.
I was appointed to the role of Portfolio Benefits Manager in the SDU in June 2017. I am responsible for leading the development and delivery of a business benefits management framework in relation to the University’s change portfolio. I will be assisting in business benefit identification, benefit profiling and benefit ownership for business cases going through to SDG. These will comprise both cashable and non-cashable benefits. When initiatives have been approved and delivered I will be facilitating the monitoring and reporting on the benefits being realised to SDG, PRG, VCEG and Council.
Prior to working at the University, I trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant whilst working for KPMG as an external auditor. Following this I was the relocation accountant and financial planner for the Met Office for a number of years and then became the Group Project Accountant for Finsbury Food Group plc.
