Specific Provisions for Examinations
If you require specific provisions for examinations, Accessibility Services at FXPlus must be notified as soon as possible after registration. Please note: any previous adjustments you may have had whilst at school and / or college will not transfer to your study at Exeter.
For a dyslexic/dyspraxic condition an Educational Psychologists Report with recommendations will be required. For other conditions medical certification will be required.
Unless previously registered, students are required to request special arrangements by:
- January exams = Monday 4th November 2024.
- May exams = Monday 10th February 2025.
- Referred/deferred exams = Thursday 26th June 2025.
Please note there is always a high demand for these appointments. It is always best to request these appointments as soon as you can. Unless your needs change you will only need to tell us about your specific provision (reasonable adjustments) once.
Exeter University cannot guarantee specific provision (reasonable adjustments) for your exam if you request an appointment after the dates listed above.
If you have subsequently suffered an injury that could cause you difficulty in a formal exam situation, you should contact your college in the first instance.
Provision during Examinations:
Subsequent to the issuing of standard examination timetable, all students registered for specific arrangements will be sent an additional email outlining their individual arrangements.
