Financial help
Access to Internships (A2I)
Access to Internships (A2I) provides support and funding to help Exeter students arrange a paid internship in the UK. Students can apply for one employer subsidy and one 'Help Getting to Work' bursary, if eligible, per year.
We can help you:
- to identify potential internship employers in your chosen sector
- make an effective approach to request a paid internship
- by providing generous funding to offset the cost of an internship
This funding is available for all undergraduate Exeter students who meet the Student WP Criteria. Please see the Widening Participation (WP) funding page for full eligibility and details.

Success for All Fund
The University, in partnership with its alumni community, has created a fund to offer additional financial support if you are experiencing unexpected financial hardship which is affecting your ability to study within your current academic year.
The fund is to assist with costs associated with your ability to study and cannot fully compensate for lack of parental contribution or over expenditure on non-essential items.
All registered Undergraduate and Postgraduate University of Exeter students are eligible to apply, irrespective of fee-status.
