Catholic Society (CathSoc)

The Chaplaincy is home to the Students' Guild Catholic Society, better known as CathSoc. CathSoc is a student-led society whose aim is to provide an open, welcoming and friendly environment for students to discover more about the Catholic Faith, grow in faith, and make new friends at the same time.

CathSoc is a fun group of like-minded people from all corners of the earth, socialising together and learning from each other. It doesn't matter if you've been going to church for years, or if your only experience of Catholicism comes from The Da Vinci Code, the Catholic Society is here for you.

The committee organises a variety of weekly events throughout the year, such as:

• themed nights
• quiz nights
• film and pizza nights
• trips
• visits to the local pubs
• BBQs
• speakers

We encourage you to join the society as you will be very welcome and your subscription fees enable us to do some amazing things.
