Anglican Chaplain (Lay Minister)

I’m Elly and have been part of the Multifaith and Anglican chaplaincy teams since I became a licensed lay minister in the Church of England in 2020. I love working with my colleagues in these teams, being able to provide a friendly and welcoming space for all members of the university community - normally with a mug of tea in hand.

After studying Maths and Psychology in Reading and then for a MSc in Ergonomics in Loughborough, I moved to Devon over 20 years ago with my husband. I’ve had various roles whilst living here, most recently working on community projects in my local town. It’s where my children were born and the landscape in which I feel most at home - walking on the moor and swimming in the rivers and sea.
