Choral Evensong: Welcome Service
Time: 5.00pm - 5.45pm
Venue: Mary Harris Memorial Chapel, Streatham Campus
A reflective service of choral music sung by the University of Exeter Chapel Choir and prospective new choristers, together with bible readings and prayer.
Choral Evensong has been sung in cathedrals and chapels for hundreds of years.
While our evensong service is often streamed online, the music performed in the Mary Harris Memorial Chapel benefits from the chapel's superb accoustics – the live experience is recommended. Many regular visitors find choral evensong to be a calming, uplifting and inspiring end to the day.
The service will be followed by tea and cake for all who are able to stay, served in the Old Library just opposite the Chapel.
If you're thinking of auditioning for the Chapel Choir, and are intending to sing with them at this service, please attend the rehearsal in the Mary Harris Chapel at 4pm.
