Mindful Meditation
Date: Every Thursday during term time
Time: 12.00pm - 12.30pm
Location: Online via Zoom
Open to: All staff and postgraduate research students (PGR students) – just turn up
These secular sessions are led by John Danvers, the Buddhist Chaplain.
Quiet mindful awareness can be enormously helpful in dealing with stress, exhaustion and overwork, and in restoring energy levels and improving wellbeing. These sessions have been established to provide staff and PGR students with a time and place for quiet attention. Guidance is available for anyone who has not previously practised mindful meditation.
Please email Colleague Wellbeing at colleaguewellbeing@exeter.ac.uk if you would like to be added to the emailing list for the group.
For more detail please see the Mindful Meditation listing on the Groups, Networks and Activities webpage.

Buddhist Chanting
Come and experience Buddhist chanting.
Every Friday from 12:00 to 12:30pm in the Multifaith Room at the Sarah Turvill Multifaith Centre on Streatham Campus
Are you interested in finding out a bit more about Buddhism or would you like the chance to sit and listen to Buddhist chanting or have ago yourself?
You're welcome to come in for all or part of the half hour.
Our SGI Buddhist Chaplain Billie Snowden will be there to answer any questions and lead the chanting. It's a great way to summon your courage, compassion, wisdom, creativity and life force.
Come and give it a go, or sit and listen! All welcome.
