This choose-your-own-adventure storybook follows a family taking a trip for the weekend, asking the reader to make small decisions, where one answer is more environmentally friendly than the other. This aims to educate children aged 4-7 about making smarter choices, with a focus on saving energy, protecting nature and reducing waste through a series of ‘fact bubbles’, a glossary, and ‘consequence pages’, which explain the environmental impact of the reader’s choice. The group then saw the potential for further development with a card game expansion, educational learning packs for teachers that could accompany the book if it were sent out to schools, a version for older children or a digitised version.
