Welcome to Cornwall!

Our International Welcome Programme is a designed to welcome you to the university and to help you settle into your new life with us. Our Welcome Programme includes tours, shopping trips, socials, talks in person and online. In January our programme is arranged for inbound Study Abroad students but everyone is welcome to our events.

Welcome Talk and Campus Tour for Inbound Exchange Students
Tremough House, 1^stfloor, International Lounge

Meet the Inbound team and your fellow exchange students during our information session. One of our International Student Advisors will be on site so you can complete your document clearance for registration.

Wednesday 15 January

Welcome Pizza Night for Inbound Exchange students
The Falmouth Stables, Old Custom House, Arwenack St, TR11 3JT

Meet the team, and fellow students for pizza and a drink in Falmouth town.

Saturday 18 January

10.00-16.00

Day trip to St Ives, Cornwall
Meet Penryn Campus Bus Stop (EX4 4PU) 09.45, returning to campus 16.00
Price: £5 (book online now open, closes 12 noon Friday 17 January)
Maximum 13 tickets available.

Discover the beautiful seaside town of St Ives in Cornwall, one of the gems of the Cornish Coast. Three beaches, beautiful artisan shops, art galleries and more fish and chips and ice cream than you could possibly want!
Journey time to St Ives is approximately 1 hour.

We will not be keeping a reserve list. We will sell any unused places at the beginning of the event. Please come with exact money in cash.
Full refunds (minus booking fee) are available if cancellation is organised through FIXR by 17 January.

Late Registration

Please ensure that you book onto International Student Clearance when you know your arrival date.

We encourage you to come to one of our Intercultural Cafes to meet the International Student Experience team who can introduce you to other international students and answer any questions you may have about life in Penryn.
